Awe inspiring natural selenite crystal caves and 90s quartz necklaces inspired the Spring Summer 2011 collection, Astral Haze. Translucent Perspex with hints of purple amethyst and rose pink hues was laser cut and etched into organic shards, a prime example of Tatty Devine's ability to translate nature into Perspex. Recreated for the 15th Birthday Collection, the Crystal Shard Necklace features 24 individual crystals, laser cut and etched in lilac tinted transparent Perspex and hung from a chunky silver coloured chain.
Shards measure between 3 x 1cm and 7.5 x 3 cm, total length adjustable from 46-52cm.
Tatty Devine is a totally independent British company designing and micro-manufacturing original jewellery in the UK. Their standout designs are all about expressing yourself in a fun and distinctive way. Harriet Vine and Rosie Wolfenden, met at art school then founded Tatty Devine together in 1999. They continue to run things from a studio in London’s East End, where it all started, making jewellery that blurs the boundaries between art, fashion and culture.
