Roman works with knives and chisels into plywood and only makes about ten prints in each edition. He uses the same piece of wood for each colour - progressively removing areas and printing the colours in layers.
The prints smell really inky. Lovely!
He runs the Gallerie Revolver in Dusseldorf with a couple of friends and a big old printing press.
